TESTIMONIALS

"We love CCNS! The teachers create such a warm, nurturing and welcoming experience for the kids. We have had 3 kids attend CCNS and our youngest is there now. He runs into school every day, greeted by the teacher with a big hug! He comes home so proud to share news about all of the new songs that he has learned and the art projects that he has done. My two oldest kids thrived in this environment and started elementary school with an easy transition. CCNS prepared them well and mostly taught them to love school and learning. What more could we ask for?"
                                                                                                                                       Allison Keel, Wellesley
"We have had two children at CCNS over the past four years, and we couldn’t be happier. We were originally planning to move our oldest to a preschool within walking distance of our home after he completed the 2.9 program, but decided to keep him at CCNS, since we loved it so much. I find the director to be very open and accommodating, and she readily seeks parent input, which I appreciate. The teachers are so warm and nurturing, and they are very attuned to the individual needs of each child. I was volunteering at one of the class parties, and when it came time for me to leave I noticed a frown spread across my son’s face. One of the teachers immediately picked up on it and helped him transition without it becoming an issue. It’s the little moments like this that show me how invested the staff is in our children.
My children enjoy CCNS, and the play-based philosophy and focus on social skill development is a great fit for them. I have also been impressed with how well my son was prepared for Kindergarten. CCNS is a really special place, with a lovely team of teachers, students, and parents. We’re lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community."

"We are so thankful to have our daughter attend CCNS.  The teachers and director have decades of experience, and they are nurturing, kind-hearted, and warm.  They know that all children are different and go out of their way to meet each and every child where she or he is (socially, emotionally, and congnitively).  The preschool strikes the perfect balance:  it's play-based with engaging theme-based learning (including units on space, the rainforest, etc.). We've watched our daughter blossom, developing friendships with classmates.  Most importantly, at morning drop-off we know that she will be loved and cared for!"

"I have three children who have attended CCNS, all very different personalities, and they have all thrived at the school.  The teachers are warm, caring, experienced, and generous with their time. They nurture the children and support the parents. Both my children and my husband and I have made friends for life through the CCNS community. It is truly a special place and a great way to begin our children's academic journeys."

When I got married and moved to Boston 9 years ago I was not part of any community. When our first child was born, I began thinking about school and where we would end up sending her. I came across CCNS through a random meeting of one of their staff. We quickly committed to sending our first daughter there after the warm feel we had after our tour. CCNS has become an extended family to our own. We will be forever indebted to the caring, patient, loving and joyful staff that our children have been afforded the opportunity to begin their journey of education with. We now look ahead to sending our fourth child to CCNS next year, and I have no doubt that she, like the others, will be wrapped in a warm blanket of love and care each day she steps through the door.  We are grateful that our path lead us to CCNS!
